Our History
The Grant County State Bank was chartered in 1907. It endured the Great Depression of the 1930s and remained a bulwark through the 1980s, when U.S. banks were failing at record rates. Our capital strength and our community's support have allowed our Bank to emerge as a leader in financial products and services. In 1993, The Grant County State Bank changed its name to Grant County Bank. More streamlined and modern, the new name reflects our respect for the past and our grateful acknowledgment to the men and women of this community whom we are privileged to serve. Grant County Bank is locally owned. In every sense, we belong to the citizens of this community. Three of our directors, Monte Sullivan, Keric Sullivan, and Marieta Hauser, trace their roots to Dan C. Sullivan, the second settler in Grant County. It was Dan's sons, Dan and Jerry, whose efforts saved the bank in the thirties. Today, the Bank's commitment to the community expresses itself in many ways. Our staff members are personally involved in a variety of important activities ranging from coaching T-ball to holding leadership positions throughout the community.

Our Philosophy
Most financial institutions offer the same general products. One thing that sets us apart is Our Business Philosophy. You will find this philosophy printed on the back of our business cards and reflected in what we say and do. It reads: We believe integrity and high ethical standards comprise the foundation of our business and must govern our decisions and our actions. We believe we must conduct our business so that the Bank's continued presence to serve the whole community will be assured. We believe our success depends upon our earning the trust, confidence and goodwill of others. Grant County Bank © 1991 Our beliefs are more than just words. Through their dedication to excellence in customer service, our staff brings the Grant County Bank philosophy to life. Every day we work hard to meet the standards of performance that you deserve. We are always looking for ways to improve. We always want to know how we can serve you better.
